M Navy seeks support of Andoni Council - Site R/S HQtrs in Andoni The Nigeria Merchant Navy Command has solicited the support of Andoni Local Government Council following the siting of the Rivers State Command in the area. Speaking to newsmen during an inspection visit of the Council boss Benson Imie to the Command's temporary camp at Asarama, the head of admin M Navy Rivers Abel Idaminabo explained that the camp is expected to control close to a thousand personnel. He said the facility will also include a training camp and residential quarters for men and officers of the Command. Mr. Idaminabo disclosed that the community has already donated some parcels of land, the boundry between Andoni and Ogoni along the Andoni/OpoboNkor Unity road for the Command's permanent site and commended the community for their generosity.
